Over the years, we have amassed quite a collection of recipes that we love to feast upon, but none of which are all that complicated to put together. On this page, we are going to introduce you to some one pot recipes. This means, at the end of the evening, you are going to have minimal dishes to clean. This means that you can continue to relax and enjoy your quiet evening, whether it is with your partner, friends, or if you are completely alone!
Baked Chicken and Tomatoes
This may not sound all that extravagant, but it really is. It is an easy dish to put together, and there is no real recipe behind it. Just bake some chicken, toss some tomatoes in there, give them a bit of heat, and then you are done. If you want to make this a bit more sophisticated, then you may want to throw in some herbs and spices. Although, to be perfectly honest with you, it is going to taste delicious as it is. Pair this with some potatoes and you have a meal!
Potato, Kale, and White Bean Hash
If you are looking for a gluten-free and vegan dish, then this is the route you are going to want to go down. It should be simple to make. If you don’t mind it being non-vegan, then you can toss some parmesan cheese on there too. You can easily make this dish in a skillet, and it takes minutes to cook. It is delicious too!
Ok. This may not sound like anything too extravagant, but do bear with us here! You can easily make your own pizza in the comfort of your own home. We are talking making the dough, which does not take too long, and then throwing on your own toppings. Let’s face it, if you were not cooking, you were going to order a pizza anyway, so you may as well just opt for the healthier option at the start.
One of the wonderful things about pizza is that you can get as creative as you want. Throw whatever toppings you want on there. The world is your oyster (you can put those on the pizza too!). Honestly, it does not matter too much about what you put on top of the pizza. You just have to enjoy what you are eating!
You will need to get hold of some fresh spaghetti for this one. If you do not have fresh spaghetti, then you will need to use two pots. Not much of an issue, but still! If you have never tried fried spaghetti, then you are in for a real treat. Throw some meat in there, a good sauce, and then you have yourself a meal. A rather delightful meal at that! This is the epitome of comfort food!
You are going to need to whip out your skillet for this dish. Be prepared, though. This one is going to be quite spicy. The way in which we envisage this dish is with a bit of sriracha thrown in. This means that it is going to have a bit of heat. The lime will help to balance that out somewhat, however. Throw in a bit of garlic and you have the beginnings of something that is truly awesome.
If you really do not want to cook a lot, then you may want to make a stew. You are going to need to have access to a slow cooker for this. However, they are not that expensive. If you are regularly tucking into home cooked food, then you are probably going to want to invest in a slow cooker anyway! The food that one of those babies can pump out is so delicious. The idea is that you toss your ingredients in at the start of the day, give them a little bit of a stir, and at the end of the day they will be nicely cooked for you. Delicious! There are plenty of recipes that you can use here.
This is sort-of like the pizza one. It does not sound like anything remarkable in just ‘name’, but it is something that which really takes on a life of its own when you make them yourself. They are going to be a bit healthier. You may need to use more than one pot if you are looking to make the burger patty from scratch, something that we recommend that you do. Throw in the ingredients that you want. We recommend a bit of bacon, some BBQ sauce, and some garlic, and you have yourself a delicious meal that is perfect to tuck into while you are watching TV.

Chicken thighs are fantastically cheap. This is why they are so great as a good home cooked dinner. You can just spice them, maybe surround them with a few vegetables, and then toss them into the oven. A short while later, you will have a good meal.
